Jarrow Formulas, Los Angeles, CA, has launched Flax Essence™, a highly concentrated, standardized flax lignan dietary supplement. Flax Essence contains LinumLife Extra™ concentrated flax lignans standardized at a minimum of 20%.

In other developments, Jarrow has unveiled Flex-Zyme™. The proteases in Flex-Zyme include bromelain, papain and Peptizyme SP, which is naturally derived from the Serratia plant. Flex-Zyme also contains Amla (gooseberry, Emblica officinalis) and rutin, which are rich in flavonoids and promote tissue repair.
